Vision

As a translator, I am both accurate and creative, and have an ability to understand the needs and requirements of the client. I enjoy hands-on translation, a diversity in work and an intellectual challenge - especially so when I have the opportunity to delve into the subject matter more deeply. In addition to French, I have a good command of English and German, with a more passive knowledge of Spanish.

I work mainly via translation agencies. However, this does not fully meet my need for personal involvement and professional perfection. For this reason, I believe that working directly with the client - businesses, solicitors, publishers, private individuals - will meet these requirements more effectively.

Education Work experience

Between studies I have worked in various positions - in business, library work and teaching in secondary schools. I have been a self-employed French translator since 1999.
